Fares on Schoolday Bus Services

contracted to GMPTE

On schoolday-only bus services operated under contract by us to GMPTE, the fares structure is set by GMPTE.

Adult fares on these services can be summarised as follows:

	upto 0.5 miles	80p Single Fare
	0.5 - 1 mile	£1.00 Single Fare
	1 - 1.5 miles	£1.25 Single Fare
	1.5 - 2.5 miles	£1.50 Single Fare
	2.5 - 3.5 miles	£1.80 Single Fare
	3.5 - 4.5 miles	£2.15 Single Fare
	5 miles	£2.40 Single Fare

For journeys being made within the Greater Manchester area and its extended concessionary fares boundaries, children travel at the flat concessionary fare; currently 50p per journey.

The usual concessionary fares available to persons over 60 and disabled persons apply, as determined by boundaries set by the relevant concessionary travel authorities.

The full range of System One Travel tickets are available for use on these services, within the System 1 travel area.

Rossendale Rover tickets are not usually valid on these services.
