Changes to Fares on

Lancashire County Council's

Schoolday Bus Services

 

 

From Summer 2006, the following simplified fares structure will apply on (mainly schoolday) bus services operated under contract to Lancashire County Council. This applies only to services operated on a cost reimbursement basis. On other services, Rossendale Transport's own standard child fares will be charged. Click Here for details

 

FARES TO BE CHARGED

 

  Journeys upto approx. 3 miles £1.00 Single Fare  
  Journeys between approx. 3 and 8 miles £1.50 Single Fare  
  Journeys over approx. 8 miles £2.00 Single Fare  

There will be no return fares available. Fares shown are for all passengers (adult or child) with the usual concessions available for NoWcard passholders.

Termly and annual season tickets, giving 20% reduction on the single fare, will be available and these can be purchased direct from the County Council.

These fares will be applicable to all schoolday only journeys operated under contract to Lancashire County Council.
