Changes to Bus Services
From 4th September 2006
There will be some minor changes to our bus services from 4th September
2006, which are summarised as follows:
Service X64
Service X64 will continue to operate throughout September and October on
Saturdays and Sundays.
Services 433 / 434
All service 433 journeys will operate via Yorkshire Street, Halifax Road and
Albert Royds Street on a permanent basis.
Service 435
On Saturdays, the first Rochdale to Buckstones journey will not serve
Rochdale Bus Station and will start at the foot of Drake Street in Rochdale
town centre at 0808.
Also on Saturdays, the 1737 Rochdale to Buckstones and the 1803 Buckstones
to Rochdale will no longer operate.
Service 461
Minor revision to the timetable to improve reliability of services. Journeys
will operate from Rochdale and Bury at the same times but some intermediate
times will change.

Mainline 464
There will be some minor amendments to the timetable on Mondays to Saturdays
to improve reliability of the overall service.
On Mondays to Fridays, the 1818hrs Rochdale to Bacup journey will now
continue to Rawtenstall.
On Saturdays, most journeys throughout the daytime will depart Rochdale 5
minutes earlier Most daytime journeys from Accrington will now depart
1 minute later at
at 05, 20, 35 & 50 mins past each hour and will operate later
throughout the route.
The Sunday service is unchanged.

Service 469
An additional journey will operate on Mondays to Fridays from Rochdale (Dane
Street) to Bury at 0713 (arrives Bury at 0743).
Service 483
There will be additional 483 journeys to and from Burnley in the late
afternoon on Mondays to Saturdays, additional journeys being at 1545 from
Fairfield Hospital (1605 at Bury, 1640 at Rawtenstall, 1705 at Water) and
1740 from Burnley to Rawtenstall (1755 at Water).
Journey times between Water & Rawtenstall
between 1700 and 1800 are changed slightly due to the additional journey to
and from Burnley

Service 484

Schoolday Only Services
Rossendale Area
Due to a change in policy by Lancashire County Council, child fares within
the Lancashire area were revised from this summer. Please check the fare
applicable for your journey carefully -

PM service 43 from Alder Grange to Loveclough will be renumbered 843 and on
Wednesday afternoons will not be operated by Rossendale Transport.

Bury Area
A new service 93 will be operated from Castlebrook High School to Bury
Interchange.

Service 900 to and from St Gabriels School will operate at revised times due
to the school's change of hours.

Rochdale Area
Service 456 from Wardle High School to Hollingworth Lake will no longer be
operated by Rossendale Transport.
Afternoon service 853 from Hollingworth High School will operate only as far as Howarth Cross, service 858
will be withdrawn.

Norden.
