Single Journey Tickets

A single journey ticket is our regular ticket type, valid for a a one-way journey, purchased from the driver when you board the bus.

You can buy a single ticket from the stop where you board to any other stop on the same bus route, and through-tickets are sometimes available to some other points on selected routes, usually where the same bus is scheduled to operate on from one service to another.

A single journey will normally be issued by the driver if a passenger does not request any other type of ticket, or present a pre-purchased ticket, a discount pass or permit.

Single tickets are designed for occasional passengers making just one or two journeys each day. If travelling longer distances or making several journeys in one day or travelling more frequently, our range of multi-journey tickets will probably be better value, click here for more information.
