Rossendale's Flexible Bus Service
FLEXIBLE ALTERNATIVE
BUS SERVICES FOR ROSSENDALE
Our mainstream network of services may not always be the
best option for many people, especially those living in rural villages.
That
is why we have teamed up with Lancashire County Council to offer the
County Rider flexible bus service, available to everyone in
Rossendale.
Our fleet of four County Rider buses are now a familiar sight on the borough's roads.
ACCESSIBLE TO ALL
Often people have shopping luggage or
mobility aids - all County Rider buses
are fully
accessible, always fitted with 'kneeling
suspension' to lower the entrance step as well
as a wheelchair / buggy ramp.
If you have a particular need just speak to one of friendly
operators when you book your journey.

COUNTY RIDER FARES
Fares are broadly similar to fixed route bus services but operate on a 'zonal' basis.
NoWcard Concessionary travel passes are valid but
unfortunately we are unable to
extend our Rossendale Rover ticket to cover this service.

coloured differently on the map below to help you calculate the fare. Just
count up the number of zones you will pass through then calculate your fare.
