From January 2007, a bus service will be available to most Rossendale
Borough Council Meetings being held at Hardmans Mill, New Hall Hey.

services

Bank Holiday Buses - Monday 28th
August 2006
On Monday 28th August we will be operating mainly a Sunday service,
with additional buses on service 464.
Changes to Child Fares
Following a change in policy in relation to child fares on schoolday
bus services, child fares on all Rossendale Transport bus services
will be revised from 5th August 2006.
On schoolday only services operated under contract to Lancashire County
Council, the new LCC fares structure will apply.
On other services, a new fares structure will apply which will allow
children to travel at a lower fares (for the majority of journeys) at
weekends, school holidays and after 1630 on schooldays. Before 1630 on
schooldays, however, slightly higher fares will apply.

Buses to The Royal Blackburn Hospital
From 24th July 2006, service 244 will serve the newly opened Royal Blackburn Hospital with buses
to and from Blackburn diverting via the hospital
grounds.
There will be minor changes to the timetable with most journeys now leaving Blackburn 3 minutes earlier.
New Free Bus Service to ASDA Rochdale
On Tuesdays from 25th July there will be a new free bus service from Littleborough, Wardle,
Smithybridge, Milnrow & Belfield to Rochdale Asda

Free Travel for East Lancashire Railway Passengers
Passengers with a valid East Lancashire Railway ticket arriving by train to
Rawtenstall can now travel free to Rawtenstall Town Centre & Market on our
services 482 and 483.
