To celebrate the centenary of Municipally-owned buses operating in the Rossendale Harry Postlethwaite's book details the history of Rossendale Transport Limited and is predecessors as far back as the operation of Motor buses by Haslingden Corporation and Rawtenstall Corporation Motors in 1907.

The book consists of 175 pages of text and photographs, most of which are in colour.

The book was released at the Centenary Open Day on Saturday 28th July 2007 and is now onsale at our Travel Shop, at Rawtenstall Depot (behind the bus station).

For those that are unable to call into our office,  the book is available by mail-order with FREE POSTAGE & PACKING.
